Global XTL & IGCC Congress 2010
................................................................................................................................................................................
15-17th Sept 2010, Beijing | China
Summit Photography

Background

In response to the increasing consideration on Low Carbon Economy, energy industry is seeking alternatives to be fully involved. As a leading country for both energy production and consumption, China is playing a more and more important role in the low carbon field. Estimated amount of natural gas reserves has continuously increased over the past ten years, moving from the 1997 estimation of 152.2Tcm to 187.76Tcm in 2009. It is thus quite logical to envisage using natural gas as a source of liquid transportation fuels, through natural gas conversion into liquid hydrocarbons (GTL)

With major projects in the fields of GTL, CTL, IGCC and CCS being implemented worldwide, Global XTL & IGCC Congress 2010 has been updated to incorporate the latest developments and will provide an in-depth overview of syngas production; F-T synthesis, process economics and the role of contractors in turning GTL concepts into viable projects.

Dedicated to moving the industry forward, Global XTL & IGCC Congress 2010 will be an essential platform for reviewing progress and determining how the sector can take the next vital steps towards successful commercialization.
